CA$15.00

Grade 2 Science Unit

Ontario curriculum based science unit with a nature twist! Each science unit includes pdf instructions and all relevant handouts and digital resources (where applicable).

Is a fish an animal? Yes, it is. After exploring and examining characteristics of animals, your learners are asked to create their own imaginary animal, specifying its life cycle, adaptations, and how animals (including humans) impact each other.

Examine physical characteristics of animals, life cycles, adaptations, impacts of animals on humans, and why humans should help protect animals, with these six activities. Engage your learners with investigations, creations of animals while examining life cycles, and explorations of different animals. Your learners will take a stand on an animal related issue and find a way to help.
