While your creations ‘cook’ learn more about the rocks and fossils around you with our personal rock collection and geology expert.

Cost:

  • $20 child ticket - comes with one free adult participant

  • Additional adults or sharing children (children who will participate but share supplies) are $5 and must be bought with a child ticket

  • Family ticket $30 includes 2 kids and 1 adult

  • Adults are welcome to join on their own with a participating adult ticket for $15

What to expect:

  • Participants will be guided through making your own polymer clay creation starting with mixing up to 6 colours into a ‘marbled’ slab

  • Participants will get to create their leaf and other creations with their clay using provided tools and stencils

  • Participants are provided enough clay to make up to 3 creations approximately 2×2 inches

  • Clay creations will be cooked for approximately 20 min. While creations are cooking participants will learn about the fossils and rocks in the Kingston area and given a chance to explore our rock and mineral collection

  • Cooked and cooled creations can be painted with our provided paint pens before adding a hemp cord for necklace or keychain use to take your creations home

  • Adults must stay with their child for the duration of the activity
